Someone once said that the real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes. And to Osteria Moderna’s founders, Alberto and Silvia, this really sums up the meaning of travelling: to bring home the memory of foreign lands and far-away traditions, and by embracing variety, enhance our own land and traditions. Inspired by long travels in Asia, we set out to showcase the fortunate encounter of centuries-old cuisines. Join us on a round-trip that will take you all the way East, and back home again.
We work hard to ensure our recipes are authentic and of the highest quality possible. In respecting the seasonality of ingredients, our menu changes every couple of months while staying true to our taste and style. For the perfect accompaniment, our wine cellar stocks a wide range of carefully-selected Italian labels. Locally-sourced Piedmontese wines are the most represented, but our list also includes varietals from Southern Italy and Trentino, along with some of the finest Champagne from France.
